1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of decoded.style and related services operated by DECODED ("we", "us", or "our") (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

DECODED is a media discovery platform that helps users find, explore, and shop fashion and lifestyle items seen in visual content. The Service may include editorial content, community-contributed product information, AI-assisted detection, virtual try-on features, and links to third-party retailers.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Accounts

Certain features require an account. You may sign in using supported third-party authentication providers. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. User Content and Community Contributions

The Service may allow you to submit, post, or contribute content, including product spots, links, comments, votes, images, and other materials ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant DECODED a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your User Content solely to operate, improve, and promote the Service.

You represent that you have the right to submit User Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws. We may remove User Content that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Service or its users.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent product information or affiliate links
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without our permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, software, editorial content, and original materials (excluding User Content), is owned by DECODED or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent, except as permitted by law.

8. Third-Party Links and Affiliate Content

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, including retailer and affiliate partner sites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, pricing, availability, or practices of third-party sites.

9. Product Information and Disclaimers

Product names, prices, availability, images, and descriptions on the Service may be provided by users, partners, or automated systems and may be incomplete or outdated. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any product information.

DECODED does not sell products directly. Any purchase you make is with the relevant third-party retailer and is subject to that retailer's terms and policies.

10. Virtual Try-On

If you use virtual try-on features, you acknowledge that results are for illustrative purposes only and may not reflect actual fit, color, or appearance. You are responsible for any photos or images you upload and for ensuring you have the right to use them.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DECODED AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DECODED and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or any third-party rights.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.

Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification.

15. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Seoul, South Korea, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
